Reply to Trying to find pictures of the Woodley Park metro station's far right escalator (if you're standing at the top travelling down) repairs that were done on and around June 19, 2011. by Kitchen-Reason4289
Didn't know the station had politically-affiliated escalators.
JK - Hope you find those, though someone having such a random picture from 12 years ago seems kinda hard.

Agree. Oversight over DOJ and thus USAO is a different committee than oversight over DC. Perhaps they can call a joint hearing and invite the mayor to that one?

I mean I don't think it works for apartment management to alert residents to a raid by cops before it happens--how would that work? What a great way for the alleged criminal to get a tip off that the cops are coming for them.

God, I don't know why you'd even bother to try and find parking on M street anyway.

Bizarre to see DC residents viewing this deranged and politically opportunistic oversight as sincere and helpful. We are talking about the worst republicans of modern history whose top constituencies are traitors and racists.

If you can’t find it in those neighborhoods, they have a minimal amount of it at the Harris teeter in NoMa (in addition to non-Passover matzah, so be sure to double check!), and a slightly larger selection at the Giant in Columbia Heights (check the endcap). I’ve also historically gotten some at the Safeway in Georgetown, but it’s been years so unsure what their selection is like this year.

Whole Foods in Shaw confirmed to have matzah. Wheaton Costco has tons of packaged KLP products, including more matzah than you could possibly want. Source: DC Minyan whatsapp

I just posted about what it means to me, it certainly wasn't deep when I moved here 10 years ago but that changed over time; kind of like how family traditions and your relation to them change as you age.

Misleading word salad is what someone says when they want to discredit you but not actually provide any facts to the contrary. And then, when you call them out on how ridiculous it is, they are indignant. Good job 👏

Good. They should be grilled. They're failing to satisfy the most important aspect of their job, which is keeping their constituents safe by enacting a policy agenda that is conducive to this outcome. Instead, they have done everything in their power to allow the criminal elements in our city to thrive while avoiding any responsibility for their role in it.

Trader Joe's has their own brand that's pretty good and KLP. Whole Foods usually has KLP Yehuda.

Not in one501 but close by. My building sent two emails to residents. The first was that there was a a situation and they’d follow up once they knew more, the second with more detail(someone was barricaded in the building).
The way my unit is positioned I had no clue anything was even happening. I didn’t even see the emails until after the fact. I do appreciate the fact they did loop us in at least.
