Ehhh see that I'm sympathetic to; someone moving here is probably going to be warned about SE in some capacity but the financial reality is that some of those people are gonna live there anyway because it's cheaper. I don't think there's anything inconsistent about that.

Nor is there anything necessarily inconsistent about anything else they've said. Though I do still think it's overwhelmingly more likely that they were not being cased to be abducted into an underground child sex trafficking ring, and that this story is either fabricated wholecloth or somebody with an anxiety disorder blowing up a sincerely unnerving but ultimately benign interaction with somebody driving slowly near them.

My dude, I said "our courts are understaffed" which you somehow took to mean that I was only talking about federal court and talking about money.

There's obviously been a vacancy problem in DC Superior Court. Maybe you just didn't know that we have a non-federal court system here that handles criminal cases? Is that the problem? They don't talk about those sorts of pesky details on Nextdoor and so they just elide you?

No, I work for an anti-trafficking organization and they are absolutely correct. We receive a lot of tips that have no correlation to trafficking, such as “I saw two men with children, they must be involved in trafficking” or similar vaguely suspicious situations with no concrete trafficking indicators. It is dangerous and harmful to spread misinformation about trafficking, and it redirects resources for trafficking victims and survivors towards non-substantive reports, making it more difficult for people who are experiencing trafficking to get the help that they need

ADANA LAMB

Bulgur & Currants, Roasted Cauliflower & Tomatoes, Chimichurri Sauce.

Misleading description under entrees . So I asked shoulder or lamb chops?

Meatballs as in cheap ground lamb .So the dish should be called Adana lamb Meatballs.

Priced around $30 (lunch).

My typical reaction would be to get upset, but instead, I think it has to do with insane rent costs.

But then again, they open for lunch and dinner. Most only dinner.

Could make sense if he was high risk I guess, or was going to do a high-risk procedure on you.

I just enjoyed not getting upper respiratory infections from patients over the last three years. Will probably keep wearing N95s from the start to end of the winter.

Good.

I have absolutely no problems wearing a mask at a doctor's office, it's just annoying when they ask you to take it off for some reason (check your throat, etc.) but then snap at you if you don't put it back on fast enough or talk while the mask is off.

I went to a Kaiser doctor a couple of weeks ago and was surprised to see he was wearing three masks (two surgical and one N95) and a face shield. None of my business and I could care less, but I haven't seen anyone with that level of protection in like two years.
