> In this specific case how bad of a parent are you to not let your kid choose where they have their birthday party and, worse, pick a brewery for their party so you can drink.

Depends how old the kid is, they may not have a preference at all. Do you think a two year old cares where their birthday is? Or a one year old? How bad of a person are you for judging someone going to a nice outdoor space where kids are allowed?

> Call me crazy for thinking kids shouldn’t be allowed at a place for drinking. Keep them at home or get a babysitter.

I mean, am I allowed to bring a kid to a brunch place? People go to brunch explicitly to drink, and I not allowed to go there? Am I allowed to take them anywhere that is primarily for drinking? Secondary drinking? Anywhere assholes might object to a parent taking a child? Alternatively, let other people live their fucking life.

I dont really care what you think about kids at breweries, fwiw. You can keep your bad opinions about parenting to yourself, no need to post bad opinions on the internet and be proud about your bad opinions.

DON'T park in the warner garage itself! Getting out is an absolute nightmare. We had prepaid for a spot, but they also allow people to come in and pay at exit when there's capacity. It's a set price so why you don't just pay on the way in is beyond me. We were on one of the most lower levels and because of the slowness of people paying at the exit, it took a full 60 mins to get out from where our car was to the street. Worst garage experience I've had. Metro or park in a different garage!

I addressed in another comment that the vast majority of sex traffickers recruit potential victims by coercing them into a romantic/sexual relationship and then force them into engaging in commercial sex against their will. It is very rare for traffickers to abduct strangers off the street and force them into trafficking. There is a ton of information online from legitimate sources that are working to combat trafficking, I can’t do all of the work for you.

But you didn’t actually answer any of the questions that I asked you

Yeah. I've lived that life. VRE didn't make sense to me at the time based on where I had to work. I also wasn't very familiar with the bus system in that area at the time. This is why I95 is such a hellish road between DC and FXBG...

Virginia planners would rather build an expensive privately operated toll road than to put rail in....

It is really wonderful that Loudoun County planners have been supportive of comprehensive rail and bus transit. Other counties that really should be like Stafford haven't been...

And it doesn't help that a lot of people that live that far out, certainly out where I live, see DC as practically Mordor...

Thank you so much for telling me that I don’t know how to do my job and that I’m not aware of what trafficking recruitment patterns look like. I love how you have a problem with professionals in the anti-trafficking field providing information about what trafficking actually looks like.

How many trafficking victims and survivors have you personally spoken with? How much trafficking data have you taken and/or analyzed to determine what are legitimate trafficking patterns and what is misinformation? How many talks have you attended that discuss trafficking misinformation and disinformation? I would love to hear what expertise you have in this field, since you’re so quick to dismiss my experiences and patronize me

> Virginia has VRE but it's pretty limited.

Ya, this system really needs to be expanded. When I was still commuting to DC, I took the VRE in from Fredericksburg and it made for a much better commute than driving. The only downside is that it's very focused on the 0700-1600 workers. If you aren't planning to be out of the city by 1700, you're skating on thin ice. I think they've expanded slightly in the last year or so; but, it's still aimed squarely at early workers.

What I really wish for is that they would expand service to cover weekends. It'd be great to take the family up to DC on a Saturday and not fight traffic. Also, better tracks for faster trains. It's shameful that driving in traffic is somehow faster than a dedicated set of rails.
