My ride went from 2 seats to 1, it's almost like everybody's personal situation is different...

Also, you've got to be kidding me with "you should try actually using the transit here." You know who is downvoting you? The people who don't have 4-seat rides to Dulles precisely because they chose to live near transit and use it frequently.

Here’s what to expect at Nationals Park in 2023.

Food

The two most notable additions to the ballpark’s food lineup are Swizzler and Capo Deli. Swizzler, which began as a food truck and opened its first stand-alone restaurant in Navy Yard in 2020, will offer smashburgers, fried chicken sandwiches and hand-cut fries, with locations in Sections 106, 130 and 320.

Capo Deli, which opened its first location in Shaw in 2017, replaces the former Hard Times concession stand next to See You Tater in Section 107. Capo’s menu of sandwiches includes the Italian combo with capicola, genoa salami and provolone; roasted turkey and provolone; and a tomato and mozzarella caprese. It will also offer tri-color pasta with genoa salami, provolone and housemade dressing.

Grab-and-go concessions

The Nationals are hoping to reduce the amount of time fans spend waiting in line for concessions by introducing four Grab-and-Go Marketplaces outside Sections 110, 136, 141 and 314. Fans at these concession stands will be able to pick up the items they want and proceed to a self-checkout kiosk, where their items will be rung up automatically. Staff will fill drinks and check IDs for fans wishing to purchase alcoholic beverages. Additionally, all concession stands, except Shake Shack, will offer kiosk ordering.

There will also be four grab-and-go beer markets, including three on the main concourse, offering a selection of canned beers. The Craft Corner market outside Section 110 will provide the largest selection of local canned beers in the ballpark. The District Drafts program, which has offered a rotating selection of local craft beers on draft for more than a decade, is back, but it will feature fewer carts this season.

This isn’t even about effecting social change though. This is about the general pointlessness of these “fear porn” style posts. There are better ways to elicit empathy, and if this strange man on the streets is such a threat that someone has to “come down” from an encounter with him, then leaving him on the streets puts other people at risk.

Bottom line : if it’s scary enough to make you feel like you have to alert everyone on Reddit, then it warrants a call to either the Police or mental health support services.

Anyone with a functioning brain who wasn't just happy to see someone yell at people they don't like knew it.

But I saw the post yesterday where folks were all excited about oversight, forgetting now that over half of Congress is batshit fuckery and that it's ONLY about sound bites for future ads, nothing to do with actual governance.

Oh sweet summer child, whenever ANY GOP politician talks about big cities or DC, they are always primarily referring to black people.

Because to the GOP and its voters, black people are the most dangerous people in America. And the GOP will do anything in their power to subjugate them.

To be fair you're asking someone to drive 2+ hours round trip if they're coming from DC, and since they're driving they can't even fully participate in the activity you're inviting them to do.

I'll make that drive and stay sober no problem for a fun activity you can only do in the boonies - hiking, kayaking, biking, etc. But asking someone to drive an hour each way to nurse a couple beers on the couch while you never have to leave your house is definitely a lopsided ask. At least meet them at a bar in the middle somewhere.

Hmm, seems you may have graduated from a school even worse than a DC public school.

I'll try small words.

1995: congress pass law. law make school hard and cost much to maintain for city. law passed by congress make school hard and cost much. congress interfere.
