Well, there are two kinds of weed. The kind where all the "get high" aspects are sucked out of it so it's used medically, and the "natural" kind, so to speak.

Don't worry, smelling weed isn't bad for you. I've smelled so much weed over the years that I can distinguish between weed smell and skunk smell.

Went to my doctor for a foot sore (Martin's Point) the other day and I was able to get it there, although it was in limited supply.

None of the Hannie's near me offers it. You might want to ask your doctor and schedule an appointment there.

MP also has vaccine clinics although I'm not sure if they're just restricted to patients or not.

Have you tried mail-order? Much more convenient. You don't have to keep going out every time you need a prescription. And it's mostly no hassle. Really, the only hassle I've had involving them is with a prescription that hardly any pharmacy covers--had to go through my secondary insurance to pay for it since my primary wouldn't, but it wasn't too bad.

I use I-Care Pharmacy in Fort Fairfield. Never had to go there once. Great people, great service, and barring any mail delays, I usually get my prescriptions in a couple days. They call you when they notice you need a refill on a prescription, too.

It's all a matter of comparison.

When stacked up against other cities in the US, Lewiston is one of the safest cities.

When stacked up against other cities in Maine, Lewiston is most definitely not safe.

The same goes for Portland. 42 shootings in such a short span of time (plus the two burglaries that just happened, and today's shooting makes it a solid 43) is pretty alarming for a city in Maine. Compare that stat with other US cities, though, and it's like telling someone "hey, I'm pregnant" when they already know you're pregnant.

So yeah. If that were a statewide list, Portland wouldn't even come close.
