I don't like gold companies.

Here me out.

Nothing wrong with gold but perhaps I'm more conventional and would only want physical gold. But even then gold is a long term, and I mean long term hold for any kind of return.

Does it hold value? Yes. But you also have to sell that asset and that buyer is also looking for a deal as well. Too much negotiation for me.

TL;DR gold is a rock that sits there, Apple is a company that makes things.

Disclaimer: Because why not, I don't hold any Apple shares.

agreed. plus what the fed is really looking for, and this is going pass the 2 percent inflation, is an average of PCE. So far we are heading down, which is good. Don't expect rate cuts well into 2025, expect a hold on 5% rates
