Or the Target Park across the street where they drop you off in your own car right at your gate, valet style. $7.99/day last I checked.

You are obviously welcome to vote however you see fit, but my strategy is to vote for the least-bad electable candidate. I see voting for someone that will never get elected as a poor strategy. Symbolic, but also not in my best interest in reality.
Fortunately, there isn't really anyone down the rankings that I like any more, so it's not a super hard decision.

Oh! Thanks for the correction!

Yeah idk, NK town beach is $10 at town hall for a parking pass, open to anyone with no quantity cap. Sweet new playground, and very calm, shallow water good for kids too.
Do private clubs have cabanas and bottle service or something?

That's a good point, I bet that's it. I am definitely guilty of thinking people are odd for no good or no particular reason. I wonder if that subtle cultural difference is what gives that this person isn't one of my people feelings.

I am more or less a New England native and feel right at home here. People keep to themselves by default, which I think of as being polite. Like, okay we're at the grocery store. We're clearly here for a reason. I'm not going to strike up a conversation with a stranger because they surely have other places to be.
But at the same time, when someone does express a need I'll (and in my experience, we'll) bend over backwards to help. Oh shit, your deck is falling apart? Here are my truck keys, go but the lumber you need and I'll meet you back at your house with all the tools we need to get it fixed.
That said, I am not sure how that squares with your experience of meeting people and becoming friends only temporarily.

Okay so then what do you think is the reason?

Reply to Best beach to find crabs? by joooleeeaaa
Oh! So you don't want to catch/eat them and just want to see something cool? Park at the Long Point Boat Ramp in Wickford, then walk along the coast to the left/west. Thousands and thousands of little sand crabs that will be out sunning themselves or whatever, but scurry into their holes when you get within 10 feet or so. Walking/riding through there feels like Moses parting the Red Sea. I have no idea how much longer they'll be around...I know nothing, but I don't imagine they hang out all winter...?

Is it though? I think it's totally possible that a Mexican person can cook both tacos and burgers well. It's not like the foods are truly mutually exclusive like asking for a vegan ribeye.

Maybe you're different, but I prefer a city with fancy-ass buildings than vacant and decaying ones, even if I don't personally live in them.
