Star link doesn't have the capacity and ground cables will be faster and more reliable for the vast majority of rural locations. Star link is best suited for the very, very rural/off grid/remote island/at sea//in the air type locations

Could it be called remission if the medication worked?
I got a diagnosis at age 41, I take 100mg atomoxitine (generic strattera) and it has really changed my life.
I no longer life in a constant state of fight or flight, I can focus better and I'm a lot less prone to being locked on one task. Additionallynive grown emotionally and I can now empathise vs a best sympathizing.
Also things are easier, jobs, projects etc. I am think of a clear path forwards and carry it out

I do not think this is entirely the case. Living off the land is great and all, however people doing this still need to respect pollution and safety laws

It would work, just not as well. The ducted fans are upto 90% more efficient than a free fan and quieter too. Additionally the duct protects the fan from debris and protects ground crew from accidental contact

Reply to comment by Ausmith1 in Vermont ICBM missle silos by airhogg
These look like atlas F silos. If I recall it took something like 2 hours to get the 75 ton doors open, the rocket lifted out on an elevator then fueled on the surface before the could launch.
The idea was these location could withstand a direct nuclear blast. Inside the missile tube the whole lift assembly and missile were attached to the rock via massive springs to absorb the shock waves from a direct strike, the control room were the men were simmally suspended but on pneumatic air shocks. Ceazy stuff.
