As we speak theres a sea of police cars surrounding it from some sort of altercation. This has been the case almost daily since it’s opened. I live in an apartment complex nearby and it has become increasingly unsafe.
There are drug deals happening in broad daylight all around my building, people are having sex in cars and some people are just trying to walk into my building and steal whatever they can. Large groups of people are loitering in any kind of space they see fit and harassing anyone who walks remotely nearby. I’ve lost count of the number of needles I’ve found on the ground.
I’ve never been anti-homeless or against social welfare.. but this is absolutely ridiculous - to have put absolutely zero thought into the safety and peace for the surrounding neighbors. Something needs to be done.
